Tauheed

“And your God is one. There is no other God.” (Baqara)

“Say. He is Allah the one: Allah is independent and one upon whom all creations depend: He begets not: nor is He begotten and there is none like unto Him. (Surah Ikhlas)

Unity in Person “If there had been more gods than Allah the whole universe would have destroyed.” (Anmbia)

Unique in Attributes “Every soul will taste the death.” (Al-e-Imran 3:185)

Unique in Actions “Indeed, your lord is Allah, who created the heavens and earths in six days, established Himself upon the throne.” (Yunus10 :3)

Worship “I have not created the jinn and humankind for any other purpose except that they should worship Me.” (Ad’Dhariat 51:56)

“You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help.” (1:5)

Prophethood

“Each nation has a guide and each nation has a Prophet.”

“Allah knows bet on whom to bestow Prophthood.” (An Aam 6:124)

“I am the servant of Allah Who has given Me the Book and ordained me a Prophet.” (19:30)

“He does not speak according to personal desires but says only what is revealed to Him.” (Surah Najam)

“Fear God and obey Me.” (Al-e-Imran 3:50)

“Who obeys Messenger, obeys Allah.” (4:80)

Verily for you is the best example in the messenger (PBUH) of Allah.” (Ahzab)

“Say, (Oh! Muhhamd) people; I am a Prophet sent for all of you.” (Araaf)

“Whatever the Messenger bids you accept it and from whatever He forbids you, abstain. (59:7)

Finality of Prophethood “But he is the messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets.” (33:40)

“No doubt, no prophet will come after me.” (Hadith)

Day of Judgment (Akhirat)

“And they believe in the Day of Judgment.”

Concept of Reward and Punishment “Certainly people with good deeds will be in paradise and those with wrong deeds will be in hell.” (Infitaar)

“This world is farm for hereafter.” (Hadith)

Sense of Accountability “And the believers are afraid of God and are afraid of accountability.” (Raad 13:21)

Prayer (Salat)

“I have not created the jinn and humankind for any other purpose except that they should worship Me.” (51:56)

“And say prayers and be not among the non-believers.”

“Be Steadfast in prayers, pay regular charity.” (Baqara 2:43)

“Seek assistance through patience and Prayer.” (Baqara 2:45)

“Establish regular prayer, for the prayer is enjoined on believers at stated time.” (Nisa / 4:103)

“Difference between believer and non-believer is Salat.” (Hadith)

“Salat is key to paradise.” (Hadith)

“Salat is the pillar of Deen.” (Hadith)

Zakat

“And those who pay zakat God will give them the reward for it.” (Baqarah)

Zakat deservers “Zakat is the right of poor, needy and those who distribute and collect the zakat and to the borrower, and to the needy travelers, and it is enjoined on you from Allah.” (Toba) 9:60

Allah had made zakat obligatory on you for this very reason that the remaining wealth of yours may become pure for you.” (Sahih Muslim)

Self-Purification “The Godfearing who spends his wealth to purify himself (al-Layl / 92:18)

“By no means shall you attain righteousness unless give (freely) of that which you love.” (Al-e-Imran / 92)

Defense of Religion “And do Jihad economically and physically.” (9:41)

“I have been commanded to collect Zakat from the rich among you and distribute it to the poor among you.” (Hadith)

Political System of Islam

“Consult them in affair (of moment).” (Al-e-Imran/ 3:159)

“And We have sent down to thee a book explaining all things.” (An-Nahl/ 16:89)

Judicial System

“Allah commands justice, the doing of good, and liberality to kith and kin, and He forbids shameful deeds, and injustice and rebellion: He instructs you, that ye may receive admonition.” (An-Nahl)

“Had Fatima daughter of Muhammad committed theft, I would have cut off he hands.” (Bukhari)

Ijma

“O ye who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Apostle, and those charged with authority among you. If ye differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Apostle.” (Nisa)

“If anything comes to you for decision, decide according to the Book of Allah. If anything comes to you which is not in the Book of Allah, then look to the Suhhan of the Prophet. If anything comes to you which is not in the Sunnah of the Prophet then look to what people unanimously agree upon.” (Hadith)

“If nothing comes to you in Sunnah then look what people unanimously agree upon.” (Abu Dawood)

“My nation will not agree unanimously in error.” (Hadith)

Ijtehad

“Those who have vision should take lesson.”

Rights In Islam

Parents Rights “We have enjoined on man kindness to his parents.” (Luqman/ 31:14)

Women

As a Child “A man who has one or more daughters and brings them up properly, educates them and gets them married, is sure to enter paradise.” (Hadith)

As a Mother “Heaven is beneath the feet of mothers.” Hadith)

Wife “The best among you is the one who is bes towards his wife.” (Hadith)

“You should be kind and most considerate towards your women.” (Last Sermon)

“And they (women) have rights similar to those (of men) over them.” (2:228)

Neighbours If you wish to become a perfect believer, you should treat your neighbor generously.” (Hadith)

Non-Muslims Rights Freedom of religion “Let there be no compulsion in religion.” (Baqara/ 2:256)
